Sliding Scale Self Assessment
Project Passion Therapy is deeply committed to providing accessible, specialized care to the community.
Project Passion Therapy is out-of-network with insurance providers, this means all services are private pay. To increase access we offer sliding scale appointments to a set number of clients. These appointments start at a standard fee of $40 and pro-bono slots are available for sex workers without means. There may be a waitlist for these lower fee and pro-bono appointments. Please be mindful that if you ask for decreased cost when you can afford the full fee, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.
This form is anonymous, please use it to self-assess whether you may qualify for a sliding scale slot. Access to sliding scale is based on the honors system and you will not be asked to return this form.
If you got mostly As, Bs, and Cs, you can reasonably expect to be paying my standard rate ($175 for individuals, $200 for couples, $190 for Gender Affirming Surgery Letters), this allows me to offer sliding scale services to other clients.
If you got a mix of As, Bs, Cs, Ds, and Es you can reasonably expect to be paying a middle range for services, this number is determined by you but the suggested rate is between $80-130.
If you got mostly Ds and Es, you can expect reasonable accommodations to fit your financial means. My standard sliding scale rate starts at $40 for therapy and $0 for Gender Affirming Surgery Letters.
At any rate you may be able to utilize OON benefits if your insurance provides this.
All therapy appointments are approximately 50 minutes long and receive the same quality of care.
